I Love Duckies was created in 2003 as an extension of Zydeco Inc.
What started out with a few ducks grew into more ducks than we could imagine. We have to thank our customers for all of their help and inspiration in making this a reality.

Our "Mother Ship" is Zydeco Gifts in Victoria, British Columbia - Canada. We opened our doors in 1986 and have seen several generations of locals and many visitors from all over the world pass through our doors since then.

If you ever get a chance to visit Zydeco on Johnson Street (right across from Market Square by the Big Blue Bridge) we hope that you will be greeted by a smile and great music. (We're known for that as well!) Putamayo World Music has been kind enough to send us their latest music which we play all day long, and we also play great Cajun and Zydeco music as well. The atmosphere is hopefully interesting and the most common expression from people when they come into the store is "Oh my goodness!" when they see the ducks! Not to mention all the other things we sell such as Gumby and Betty Boop and Darwin Fish, amongst other things, and there is always laughter from the back of the store from people reading our greeting cards.
